The site is situated on Murray Street in Leicester, in between its junction with Beal Street and Kent Street, in an industrial area on the western periphery of Highfields. The site is located directly adjacent to the mainline railway track, north east of Leicester’s railway station, and is accessed via the main A47 Humberstone Road which links onto Kent Street and Murray Street. Leicester’s main shopping centre is some ¾ of a mile in distance to the west, whilst Leicester’s inner ring road system is in close proximity via the A47, providing easy access around the city and further connects to J21 of the M1/M69 motorway network.
